For most homeowners, the horror of having your home burn down, thankfully, is something they will never have to experience. But nevertheless, fire safety and prevention remain an important aspect of education in our society today. That’s why events like the one Firehouse Subs Whitby, in co-operation with Home Depot, are important ones.
This Saturday March 10, 2018, people are invited out to Firehouse Subs Whitby (372 Taunton Road East, Whitby) for Fire Safety Day. Participants will have the opportunity to meet Whitby firefighters, handle some fire safety equipment, and, more importantly, check out some fire trucks!
The event will run from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm and will include some fun interactive games for the kids. So come on out, refresh yourself on some fire safety tips, and have whole bunch of fun with the family.
